During the 37th meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vitaly Nesis, Chief Executive Officer of Solidcore Resources, had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
The parties discussed cooperation in the field of mining and processing of precious and non-ferrous metals, energy and environmental protection.
Vitaly Nesis shared with the progress of the Ertis Hydrometallurgical Plant construction project in Pavlodar region. Solidcore Resources’ investment in the project amounts to $978 million. The factory will process up to 300,000 tons of gold-bearing concentrate and produce around 15 tons of gold in dore alloy per year. It is intended to create approximately 500 new jobs in the region.
The Chief Executive Officer of Solidcore Resources also disclosed the company’s plans to advance the Syrymbet tin deposit located in North Kazakhstan and the Tokhtar gold deposit in Kostanay region. Furthermore, efforts are made to establish an energy cluster at the Varvara field in Kostanay region, featuring a complex of solar and gas piston stations along with gas distribution systems. Plans are in place to construct a comparable gas piston station at the Kyzyl field in the Abai region.
Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the significance of business ventures focuse on increasing production, adopting modern technologies, and safeguarding the environment, and pointed out that the Government would offer extensive assistance to these initiatives.
